Vands Clinic Seomyeon Branch has been designated as a “2026 Outstanding Medical Tourism Institution” by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea.
The designation is made under the Ministry of Justice’s medical tourism support program and is based on criteria related to international patient services, relevant operational systems, and other requirements established for participating institutions.
The designation concerns the institution’s qualifications and operating framework for medical tourism and international patient support.
It does not represent an evaluation or certification of the superiority of particular medical treatments, procedures, or clinical outcomes.
Following the designation, Vands Clinic Seomyeon Branch plans to continue improving its support systems for international patients, including consultation, appointment assistance, medical information guidance, and post-treatment communication.
Busan has established infrastructure for tourism and international visitors and is geographically accessible from a number of overseas markets, including Japan, China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
Taking these regional characteristics into consideration, Vands Clinic Seomyeon Branch plans to strengthen consultation and information channels for international patients and continue cooperation with medical tourism agencies and related organizations.
A representative of Vands Clinic Seomyeon Branch said, “Following this designation, we will continue improving our operational systems so that international patients can receive the information and support they need more conveniently throughout the process, from initial consultation and appointment guidance to post-treatment communication.”
The representative added, “We also plan to continue cooperation with relevant organizations and improve guidance procedures to reduce practical inconveniences that international patients may experience when using medical institutions in Korea.”
Vands Clinic Seomyeon Branch plans to gradually enhance its international patient support system by improving consultation channels, developing more accessible guidance for patients from different countries, and strengthening cooperation with organizations involved in medical tourism and international patient services.
